Formed by the merger of several villages—including Lanslebourg, Lanslevillard, and Termignon—it offers a 125km ski area, 1,500m vertical drop, and a reputation for authentic, traditional atmosphere. Known for intermediate-friendly, scenic, and tree-lined runs, including the 20km "Escargot" green run, which is one of the longest in Europe. Just a short walk from the road In the heart of Haute Maurienne Vanoise. Nestles the church of Saint-Pierre d'Extravache, it is considered to be the oldest church in Savoie. Built in the 11th century, it marks the beginning of Christianity in the valley. Its a great place to experience the history of the area.
