More about St Gervais
Exceptional Mont Blanc Panoramas
St Gervais serves up stunning views of Mont Blanc and is part of the expansive Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, which spans 450 km with 108 lifts across multiple villages. Skiers can enjoy fabulous runs with an extraordinary panoramic backdrop of the iconic mountain.
The Evasion Mont Blanc ski area is basically a collection of villages - try to discover them all on skis in a week!
Family friendly facilities
Saint-Gervais has invested heavily in beginner-friendly skiing infrastructure, including a new high-altitude beginners' area at 1,840m with a modern covered magic carpet. The resort provides multiple family activities like sledging areas, ice skating, husky dog sledding, and snowshoeing trails suitable for all ages
Unlike lots of resorts, St Gervais' beginner area is up the mountiain at the top of the new Bettex gondola. This means those just starting out get to experience the same views and environment as seasoned veterans!
Direct gondola from the train station
St Gervais' recent developments include a new gondola providing direct access from the railway station to the slopes, making it one of the only European ski resorts with such seamless transportation connectivity.
Mountain Biking
Fancy something different during the warmer spring months, or even a summer getaway? The pipeline bike trail, which follows a massive water pipe down the mountain, leads from St Gervais to Le Fayet. Not for the faint hearted, it's mostly downhill and quite fast, but exceptionally fun if that's your kind of thing. In the summer, make the pipeline your last stop on a day's downhill biking using the St Gervais and Megeve lift system!
Hidden gems
Spa day
The town's original thermal baths, Les Thermes de St Gervais, are the ultimate activity either to relax after a long day's skiing, or just sack off skiing for the day to relax and take in the wonderful atmosphere
Apres Ski
Not a hidden gem, but you really wouldn't want to miss the Folie Douce. The open air club styled apres bar has made it to St Gervais
